An Eco-friendly Process using Hydrogen Peroxide for the Recover of Pure Silver from Silver Wastes

Project Detail:

A eco-friendly and novel method to recover silver element from the spent silver oxide batteries will be developed. The silver element will be separated out from the other elements by using simple chemical reaction involving hydrogen peroxide. The pure silver microstructures are recovered from the silver wastes and their morphological structure could be adjusted by polymers such as PVP. Moreover, they will further used as silver source to generate silver clay or silver ink as the added-value product from wastes.
