This project highlights the use of ambient ionization MS, a technique that drastically reduce the amount of generated waste, to reveal key chemical data that are indicative of origins in Thai agricultural products. This data can then be of critical importance to the registration of Geographical Indication (GI), a class of intellectual properties that help sustain the values of Thai products. This project is truly interdisciplinary and thus suitable for students who love to be exposed to diverse set of chemical tools and knowledge. The obtained experience will be surely beneficial to the careers of future generations of chemists.
