Analytical method development for food and environmental samples requires sample preparation processes prior to analysis by advance analytical instrument. Development of sample preparation that complies with green chemistry principles is challenging. Microextraction techniques such as hollow fiber membrane extraction; electromembrane extraction; dispersive liquid liquid microextraction and QuEChERS use less solvent consumption, combine extraction and preconcentration steps and provide high enrichment and efficiency with fast analytical process. Developments in using green materials and green solvent, designing of minituarized analytical system and coupling with analytical detection system are interesting.
