Project Detail:
There are needs around the world to study and use cannabis extract for health benefits. Ability to deliver them locally into skin will benefit various applications including acne treatment. Ability to deliver them into systemic circulation via dermis will benefit many applications including migraine. The student who embark on this project will be working with on optimization of dissolving microneedles to deliver cannabidiols into dermis and try to create a fine-tune microneedles that can deliver cannabis extract for both short burst release and long-sustained release in the same application patch.
