Project Detail:
Ability to deliver drugs via dermis is being increasingly needed with the exponential growth of biologic drugs. Dissolvable-microneedles is one of a promising delivery strategy for such need. Our lab has successfully developed dissolvable-microneedles that require only 2 min application time (existing product in global market require at least 2 h). In this project, we aim to further develop this device to have a shorter application time. The concentration will be on the materials used in the microneedle fabrication. The student who embarks on this project will have a chance to use the particle-free facility of MiNeed technology (https://mineed.tech).
